Frank A. Cappellino started his automotive business in Medina, NY in 1969 and then relocated to Buffalo, NY in 1973 where he opened Towne Buick Inc. on Delaware and Hertel Avenues. Frank's vision was for customers to feel they were anywhere but a car dealership. He felt his company's most important role was to listen to their customers and to offer them transportation solutions based upon their needs.

Frank's sons, Steve as President and Gary as Vice President moved Towne Buick Inc. to Williamsville in 1988 and acquired many other successful automotive franchises. Currently, Steve along with Steve's sons Brian and Dan, who both serve as Vice Presidents, continue Frank's culture with the family owned and operated Cappellino Buick GMC Chevrolet Cadillac that includes Cappellino Buick GMC on Transit Road, Williamsville; Cappellino Chevrolet on Boston State Road, Boston and Cappellino Cadillac on Sheridan Drive, Williamsville. Steve, Brian and Dan are proud to have celebrated over 50 years as a GM dealer in Western New York and to be the only multi-point dealer in Western New York to exclusively represent GM franchises.

Steve correlates his current "We Can Work It Out" theme with his father's vision. He explains that everything they do at Cappellino's is aimed at "working it out" and in the process building customers for life. That's why Steve, Brian and Dan work in their showrooms every day.

Steve and his sons have grown the Cappellino automotive business exponentially and tribute their success to their employees, many of whom have worked with them over several decades. Steve credits the numerous Jack Smith Awards and Dealer of the Year Awards that his company has earned to treating both their customers and their employees with respect and fairness. Steve explains: "There is nothing more important than one group of people working together toward a common goal to satisfy our customers.
